We Love Dragons

That is the purpose of our blog - to celebrate the concept of the beautiful and magical creature, the dragon. The experience that led to the development of this blog was my experiment with using AI to generate images. In the process of deciding what to generate, I wanted to see a dragon, obviously. But not just any dragon. After a few attempts at prompts, I finally landed on this: very detailed fierce dragon flying in the moonlit night sky overlooking a river running through a forested mountain valley. That prompt yielded the image above.

In the process of getting to that image, many other results were obtained. Here are some of those.

Some of the results were wacky.

Some were interesting.

Some were terrifying.

I started to get the hang of using various AI tools to get closer and closer to an image I had in my own mind. During the process I started imagining storylines to go with the images, but it was seemed nearly impossible to obtain a series of images sufficiently similar to be used in a full story.

I decided to do some research on the history of dragons. This was interesting and entertaining. I decided on a blog idea - I'll use AI text generators to help me come up with, outline, and ultimately write parts of a blog about the history of dragons, use AI image generators to make novel creations appropriate to the blog, then offer prints or digital downloads of those images on a variety of platforms, and potentially monetize the blog via affiliate marketing. I might also make videos of each blog post.

If nothing else, I plan to have some fun, make some great art, and share it with those who have similar interests.
